Job Title: (Senior) Data & Digital Solutions ManagerReporting To: Operations DirectorLocation: Korea OfficeMain PurposeBuilding on the strong foundations already established, this role will continue driving data and digital transformation within Cartier Korea by enhancing existing solutions, refining processes, and evolving the tech and data culture. The Data & Digital Solutions Manager will be responsible for optimizing and modernizing data technologies, fostering a data-driven mindset, and identifying new opportunities for automation and efficiency. With a focus on scalability and innovation, the role will ensure that Cartier Korea remains at the forefront of digital and data excellence, aligned with business needs and global strategies.Key Responsibilities1. Data & Analytics Strategy and Implementation
  • Lead the deployment and optimization of data products leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP), dbt, and Looker to improve analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based data models and transformations to ensure data accuracy, scalability, and business relevance.
  • Ensure strong data governance practices, ensuring data quality, documentation, integrity, and security in compliance with HQ/Richemont Group Data Office guidelines.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to enhance overall data ecosystem and data products portfolio, aligning with business needs and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate global teams on the deployment of new data initiatives and continuous improvement of existing ones, raising South Korea region needs and vision.
  • Actively participate in the data community across regions, leveraging collective intelligence and collaboration.
2. Digital Transformation & Automation
  • Identify opportunities to automate business processes and improve end-user experience through digital tools and innovations.
  • Research and propose emerging technologies that can drive efficiency, including workflow automation, AI-powered insights, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Partner with different departments to define business requirements and translate them into scalable digital solutions.
  • Promote a digital-first mindset, encouraging innovation and adoption of new technologies across teams.
3. Agile Project Management & Collaboration
  • Lead data and digital projects following Agile methodologies, ensuring iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Retail, Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc.) to understand their needs and develop tailor-made solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and tech partners, ensuring smooth implementation and optimization of digital tools.
  • Strengthening the Data & Tech culture by designing and leading engaging training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions, empowering teams with advanced skills in data analytics and digital tools.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, digital transformation, or technology-related roles, ideally within luxury retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce.
  • Strong background in SQL, data modeling, and cloud-based analytics (GCP, dbt, Looker, or similar technologies).
  • Experience in project management, Agile methodologies, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Prior exposure to automation tools and process optimization is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, data pipelines, and cloud-based analytics platforms (preferably GCP).
  • Familiarity with data governance, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Ability to identify and implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of business intelligence tools, preferably Looker.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Python or R.
