- Advancing science and standards of care for patients, healthcare providers, and payers.
- Working as key members of the affiliate medical department, focusing on medical and scientific engagement with AbbVie stakeholders.
- Communicating information and facilitating dialogue about AbbVie’s marketed products, and compounds in development, in a strictly scientific, non-promotional manner.
- Enhancing the scientific credibility of the company with thought leaders through scientific dialogue and collaborations.
- Participating in initiation, oversight, and follow-up of clinical studies and medical projects.
- Providing scientific and technical leadership and support to internal teams such as sales and marketing.
- Pharmacist or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
- Experience in rheumatology and immunology and medical research is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and Medical Affairs’ role.
- Demonstrated expertise in scientific methods applied to clinical research.
- Ability to learn new subject areas and environments comprehensively.
- Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
- A good understanding of written and oral English.
- High customer orientation.
- Strong commitment to compliance with rules and procedures, and scientific quality and integrity.
