Job Description Summary The Business Director, Specimen Management (SM), Korea, is responsible for leading the SM business and delivering strategic and operational objectives. This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L responsibility and a clear succession plan.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver overall business objectives for the Korea Specimen Management business with full P&L accountability.Increase market share and strengthen customer portfolio to achieve significant growth and gain relevance in the market.Establish and delegate operational objectives and assignments while optimizing resource allocation and projects between the various product areas to achieve sales results and OIBT goals.Develop and implement strategic sales, marketing, clinical, and service goals tailored to the evolving hybrid commercial model.Strengthen customer portfolio and increase market relevance through targeted commercial initiatives.Establish and manage relationships with customers, distributors, and regulatory bodies.Collaborate with regional and global platform teams to align on strategic direction and drive global initiatives locally.Participate in the Korea Leadership Team and contribute to broader country-level strategies.Provide leadership and development to cross-functional teams, including recent hires in sales, marketing, and clinical roles.Support in-country initiatives and projects as requested by the Country GM Korea or Regional VP.Ideal Candidate ProfileIdeally, MBA or other advanced graduate degreeA minimum 15 years of sales and marketing Experience in consumables and instruments; diagnostic industry experience is helpful but not mandatory.Experience in setting direction and providing effective solutions and initiatives to manage a growing industry/market segmentProven experience in managing P&L for a businessProven experience in challenging, competitive environments with a track record of resilience and results.Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset.Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.Deep understanding of the Korean healthcare market, including channel and distributor management.Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and communication abilities.Ability to work in a matrix organizationRequired SkillsOptional Skills.Primary Work Location KOR South Korea - Seoul HQAdditional LocationsWork Shift
