The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong commercial mindset, data-driven decision-making skills, and a passion for enabling sales growth through operational excellence.Key Responsibilities🧭 Strategic Sales Leadership
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve To-Market Sales (TMS) and In-Market Sales (IMS) targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of direct sales, distribution management, and sales operation with a focused on diagnostic medical devices.
  • Drive direct sales execution by enabling account managers to focus on customer engagement, solution selling, and closing opportunities.
  • Manage distributor performance and inventory to ensure sustainable growth and healthy stock rotation.
📊 Commercial Excellence & Operations
  • Champion funnel management, forecast accuracy, and SFDC adoption across all levels.
  • Lead the BI specialist to design dashboards, metrics, and trackers that enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish structured funnel review and performance monitoring processes to identify challenges and opportunities.
🤝 Customer & Market Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Foster a customer-centric mindset by leveraging customer insights and market trends to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and regulatory teams to support product positioning and market access.
📈 Governance & Reporting
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and internal policies.
  • Stay current with market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the diagnostics and medical device space.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field;
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the medical device or diagnostic solutions industry.
  • Proven track record in strategic sales, business development, and team leadership.
  • Deep understanding of the Korean healthcare system and medical device regulatory environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in both English and Korean.
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization is a plus.
