Procurement Specialist

• Lead the procurement process for indirect goods and services by selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company regulations.
• Work with the direct procurement team in SCM for selecting vendors and negotiating contracts.
• Create indirect purchase orders in SAP, update IPOs, send purchase orders to vendors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align them with organizational goals and budgetary constraints
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess market trends, and capitalize on opportunities for cost savings
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluations
• Monitor and manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards
• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks
• Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement
• Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to procurement and incorporate relevant changes into procurement processes

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 7 years or more of proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field, with a focus on indirect/direct supplier management
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
• Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and industry trends
• SAP Experience
