- Design and launch ground-breaking strategies and lead multi-disciplinary projects across Marketing and Life Cycle Management (LCM).
- Through development of strong customer facing relationships, the Brand Manager will be able to anticipate obstacles and their implications and working with the BUH to develop robust action plans, with clear leadership during implementation.
- Identify potential significant - positive or negative - deviations as early as possible and provide management updates. When course correction is required recommend or make adjustments with a sense of urgency
- Lead the organisational strategic thinking and brand development to ensure brand success within appropriate markets ensuring strategic plan supports overall business objectives.
- Ensure high quality development and performance across all objectives.
- Ensure brand leadership in every segment in which we compete.
- Be the "brand champion" and internal point of reference for all product-related queries.
- Benchmark against competitors and take corrective action where appropriate.
- Lead the 3-5-year Korean strategic plan and lead and execute the 1-year Operational Plan for responsible product. Through regular monitoring of projects ensure Return on investment (ROI) on commercial projects
- Constant horizon scanning with a long-term view of maximising product life cycle.
- Ensure appropriate budget allocation and ensure accuracy of phasing to drive business within financial year.
- Adhere to SOPS, comply to and lead with highest business ethics standards.
- Plan and conduct market research projects to facilitate optimum marketing plans based on current market trends and market intelligence.
- Accurate decision-making on investment or disinvestment
- Ensure by collaborating with infield management that Ipsen is a high-powered professional sales organization.
- Oversee the delivery of the training strategy to ensure field force are equipped to sell the brand convincingly.
- Continuous campaign improvement through gathering field data and Account Manager/customer involvement
- Prepare annual budget with forecasting sales and expense
- Estimate the profitability of marketing expenses
- Manage the marketing expenditure
- Manage working relationships with advertising agencies and other service company
- Appropriately manage relevant projects’ commercial spend to drive brand performance
- Monitor sales performance and propose corrective actions when needed
- Contribute to the development of annual and 5-year sales, supply and expense forecasts
- Bachelor of Business / Marketing / Digital
- At least 10 years of experience in pharma business environment
- At least 5 years in a commercial marketing role in a pharmaceutical company
- Strategic business insight based on marketing knowledge
- Extensive oncology knowledge and experience
- Experience in the launch of new products is preferred
- Previous experience in supporting development and execution of brand strategic and tactical plans
- Fluent Korean
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
