- Responsible in achieving annual AFM sales budget/target (bookings, revenue and margin) by preparing and negotiating quotes.
- Responsible to support the HKR Country manager to analyse market demand and competition situation based on the company sales plans and develop new sales opportunities to promote the company's overall business development, ensure sales targets reached
- Responsible to ensure prompt and accurate responses to customer for commercial and technical enquiries
- Responsible to support project execution of legacy brands of Chart, Howden and CPI
- Achieve the annual AFM contract bookings, sales and margin budget by:
- Proactively administering the AFM sales Bidding and Budgetary from enquiry through to customer order:
- Evaluation of customer technical and commercial requirements to ensure correct supply of equipment
- Ensure AFM quotations are processed within clients required timescales
- Obtain / request necessary drawings if required in the quotation process
- Keep CRM up-to-date and maintain the data as accurate as possible
- Liaise with customers to negotiate initial contract terms and conditions
- Make sure customer order reflects the agreed terms in Howden's quote
- Developing sound relationships with customers and suppliers
- Customer communication
- Updating customer contact list in CRM and in the ERP system
- Confirming customers product and maintenance details
- Pro-active communication of AFM requirements and special campaigns
- Follow up open opportunities as required
- Administrative diligence - accurately and efficiently in a timely manner prepare required documents and seek to continuously improve office procedures
- Liaise with PBU (Product Business Units) in order to start transferring PBUs knowledge and being a backup instead of PBU sales or technical team in local.
- Embrace Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and apply the use of the core company values
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the Power Generation Industry.
- Understanding of Fans & Heaters in Power plant and process application for Power Generation preferred. Also, other rotating equipment (Compressors, Blowers & Steam turbines) knowledge in PCOG & Industrial markets is plus.
- Engineering Degree in relevant field preferred
- TOEIC grade 800 up, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal): must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy with a high level of cultural sensitivity
- Ability to interpret financial data and perform accurate pricing calculations (pricing, margins, exchange rate)
- Experience working on ERP system (Ecount and preferably Microsoft AX)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure while keeping a positive and result- driven attitude
- High level of PC literacy, especially MS Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer
