MAIN PURPOSE1) Summary of PositionThe Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for providing critical insights into product performance and driving data-informed decision-making throughout the organization. This person will leverage analytical skills to forecast product demand and develop comprehensive reporting mechanisms to track product performance in forming strategic business decisions as a primary focus. Furthermore, this position oversees Event and Visual Merchandising in terms of planning and implementation to elevate brand experience and maximize product target achievement. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and implement effective action plans. It is critical that this role embodies strong leadership skills and has the ability to think holistically to align with strategic business partners on priorities.2) Main accountabilities/objective of the position:Product Marketing
  • Closely collaborate with Marketing and Communication Director to prepare the annual business plan for Korea
  • Lead and align with the global launch calendar and animation strategy providing feedback on local adjustments and specific requirements.
  • Debrief the team and related departments on the annual plan, continuously reviewing and updating the yearly planning with the regional team, local Retail and Wholesale team.
  • Partner with Retail and Supply chain to forecast collection to meet budget and collection growth.
  • Orchestrate a 360 degree product strategy adapted to the local context in collaboration with relevant teams (Retail, High jewelry, CRM, Communications, Training, VM, Event, Supply Chain) to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure product information is shared with wider audiences (internal teams and external channels)
  • Plan local launch activations, support events and animations with product selection and collaborate with training team, ensure balanced and adequate support to each product category
  • Propose relevant and creative ideas and strategies to promote the collections
  • Analyze collection performance and identify growth opportunity
  • Build and consolidate product analysis for ad hoc decks and/or presentations (including but not limited to Market Activation Plans, Category Action Plans & Business Reviews). This involves synthesizing data from various sources to create clear and concise presentations that communicate key findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Client Engagement, Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to define testing opportunities, analyze business strategies and test results, and incorporate findings into product analysis and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
Overseeing Event and VM
  • Coach and lead Event team and VM team to align with product launches and activations both in-Boutique and outside of Boutique.
  • Plan and orchestrate impactful yearly brand events, high jewelry events and boutique activations in collaboration with Retail, Event and CRM team
  • Play an active role in strategic local growth initiatives
  • Ensure VM consistency
  • Develop and implement window displays considering customer journey and hero product push
Marketing budget management with accuracy
  • Monthly / Annual Event and VM budget planning and management
  • Monthly budget tracking and analysis with local controlling team and HQ
Report Regular activities and performance reviews to support Marketing and Communication Director3) Key Performance Indicators:
  • Product launch plan and 360degree GTM lead
  • Product analysis ,Forecast accuracy and follow up
  • Collection performance vs. Target
  • Event ROI
  • A&P spending control
  • Quality of the Branded events and VM activations
  • Internal and external communication related to projects
4) Size of team:
  • 1 Event expert and 1 VM expert
5) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or above required, specialized in Marketing and Business preferable.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experiences in product marketing with product-oriented background within the Asia Pacific region, especially in Korea, Experience in the luxury industry is highly preferred
  • Proficient in presentation, negotiation, organization, strong interpersonal skill
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Highly motivated, positive attitude, energetic, dynamic, independent, reliable and self-disciplined. A strong team player
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced working culture, manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Transversal coordination needed with strategic thinking and leadership
  • Budget management skills and experiences
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
