Job Description Summary As a Lead Install Base Engineer at GE HealthCare, you will serve as a key driver in resolving customer complaints, enhancing product quality, and addressing system-level issues. This role provides extensive cross-functional exposure and requires close collaboration with global teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and operational excellencetexJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently address and resolve customer complaints, ensuring prompt support and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with Global Product Surveillance (GPS), Global Service Part Operations (GSPO), and Service Operations to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Lead initiatives to improve product quality, streamline maintenance processes, and support the successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPIs).
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience with ultrasound devices.
  • Utilize high-level business English skills in communication and documentation.
  • Possess a strong engineering background to support technical decision-making.
  • Apply data analytics skills using tools such as Microsoft Excel, VBA, and other relevant platforms.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and related software environments.
Quality & Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to GE HealthCare’s Quality Management System and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Complete all required Quality and Compliance training on time.
  • Identify and escalate quality or compliance concerns promptly.
  • Ensure regulatory and quality requirements are met before approving design outputs or deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Ultrasound systems or other medical imaging technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Passion for data integrity and continuous process improvement.
