- Serve as the primary point of contact for the corporate customer portfolio, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Consult customers about Elsevier R&D solutions by understanding customer R&D and business objectives.
- Drive adoption and utilization of Elsevier core contents, including ScienceDirect and Scopus.
- Contribute developing upsell and cross sell opportunities by identifying customer opportunities and needs.
- Maintain deep knowledge of industry, market, customers, R&D trends and competitors in order to communicate with customers
- Collaborate with account managers, solution sales team, product team, marketing team and account support team to achieve customer success, team growth and goals. Also, deliver customized solutions and resolve customer issues together.
- Master or PhD : science and technology background
- Deep domain knowledge
- Experience to serve R&D organization by direct interaction with researchers or researcher background(can be in academia)
- Background in customer engagement and driving customer adoption(minimum 1~3 years+)
- Strong B2B solution value based communication and relationship experience : data & analytics, consulting or any other solution
- Communicate powerfully and confidently with the customer, manager and the colleagues, and being a team player who can maximize the revenue by collaborating with others
- Able to identify the opportunity by asking questions based on the curiosity and being agile to address to that
- Business level English
