We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Sales Director for APAC to lead our sales and business development efforts across diverse industry segments. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, cultivating new relationships, and managing customers and distributor network within the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, and industrial applications sectors. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a global leader in specialty oils and take a pivotal role in shaping our success in the APAC market.Your ResponsibilitiesReporting to the General Manager, the main responsibilities of this role are :
Market Expansion: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our market presence across APAC to drive exceptional performance and deliver on revenue targets.
- Being responsible for management and for the a product portfolio on APAC territory for BtoB Clients. Manage sales with existing distributors and direct customers : negotiation of price/quantities, execution of contracts, customer visits - Meet the target in term of sales to achieve annual budget.
- Work closely with the General Manager to establish the level of margin required to determine the selling price;
- Coordinate with Customer Service colleagues who process the orders on a day to day basis (from order reception until delivery and full payment).
- Develop business with existing customers : work on projects to expand sales with new products/additional quantities - Develop business with new customers: identify sales targets in pharmaceutical, human nutrition, animal nutrition, personal care markets, create business opportunities until sales conclusion.
- Develop new distribution network in the countries where the business is not established yet.
Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve sales targets in the region.
Reporting and Analytics: Create regular reports to track sales performance, key metrics, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Act as a project manager from lead inquiry until first sale.
- Develop a relationship of trust and quality with all the colleagues allowing decision-making, in particular with the R&D/regulatory, supply chain, quality teams and the other ADM stakeholders.
- Respect the corporate and local procedures in place.
- Master of Science Degree (Life Science, Chemistry, Agriculture…), with ideally a master's degree in business/sales/marketing
- Experience (10 years) in B2B sales of pharmaceutical ingredients (API's, excipients) in APAC
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the specialty oils or related industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinking and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent English level for business purposes.
- A good experience of Chinese pharmaceutical industry market is a must.
