This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your cybersecurity expertise in a dynamic environment, working alongside top-tier IT and security professionals across Pacific Air Forces (PACAF).You’ll collaborate with senior cybersecurity leaders to protect critical Air Force systems and data, while contributing to the development and implementation of continuous monitoring strategies, system security plans, and risk mitigation efforts. This position plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. military’s strategic focus on the Pacific region.Primary Responsibilities:Coordinate and support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including technical input and documentationConduct continuous monitoring and real-time security assessments for AFJWICS systemsEnforce cybersecurity policies under the direction of PACAF ISSM, CISO, and SSOProvide initial troubleshooting for PKI certificates and multi-factor authentication tokensDeliver ISSO orientation and training to SCIF personnel supporting operationsParticipate in cybersecurity meetings and working groups led by PACAF ISSMDraft and review Security Impact Analyses (SIAs) for system modificationsProcess Change Requests (CRs) through the PACAF Configuration Management Board (CMB)Maintain security documentation and artifacts required for Authorization to Operate (ATO)Collaborate with the SSO to respond to cybersecurity incidents and implement corrective actionsManage SCI user accounts, including timely deactivation of inactive accountsConduct self-assessments and contribute to Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for failed controlsMaintain strong communication and customer service with internal and external stakeholdersBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or related discipline with 8+ years of related experience. Additional experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute degree requirement.US Citizen; Currently possess an active Top Secret / SCI clearanceSolid understanding of NIST RMF and DoD cybersecurity policiesIAM Level II certification (e.g., CAP, GSLC, or equivalent)Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solvingPreferred QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMaster’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT Systems, or related field5+ years of experience in C4ISR, IT, or IA-related rolesFamiliarity with Intelligence Community (IC) IT Security ControlsUnderstanding of USAF operations and the Pacific TheaterIAM Level III certification (e.g., CISSP) is a plusEIO 2024At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better.
