- Providing distinctive sales strategies & support including but not limited to process systems designs and solutions to satisfy customers’ needs.
- Main duties include preliminary design of refrigeration system, compiling accurate project costing, liaising with vendors for quotations, and preparation of Project proposals suiting the Client requirement.
- Oversee direct business development and account management for large accounts and strategic clients and opportunities.
- Developing YPS business in line with company objectives of sustainability, quality earnings and continual growth.
- Execute the business initiatives and commit to yield total customer satisfaction and achieve the business results
- Support the YPS business in the region in possession of sustainability, quality earning and continual growth.
- Report results in time, with clarity and objectivity to sales manager.
- Drive the realization of sales strategies and sales growth programs.
- Participate in the organization of marketing and promotion, incl. seminar, conference, exhibition, and any form of event which benefits the business performance.
- Maintain existing customer base and develop new customer base to ensure continuous business growth.
- Maintain constant field intelligence and feedback pertinent information on competitor’s activities, product, prices, business performance and promotional programs and develop the necessary business strategies to ensure the company excels.
- Lead and set good example in sales management practices consistent with JCI business standards. Ensure full adherence of sales team to the JCI approved processes.
- Execution of business operation and conduct are to conform to JC policies.
- Communicate and work closely with other departments in ensuring the overall company objectives/performance is achieved at all times.
- Foster strong customer relationship with all customers enabling the company to be active & leading, speedy response time, highly profitable, excellent payment collection position at all time.
- Maintain high morale and team spirit in the office environment.
- To observe, promote and practice JC culture and leadership qualities.
- Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior.
- Engineering Degree onwards or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process)
- More than 10 years and above experience in technical sales of capital-based, engineered equipment, sales management and marketing.
- Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, HVAC / Refrigeration, or similar industry is strongly required.
- Understand contract/project/credit management, pricing, quotation, business & technical proposal, clarification & negotiation with vendors/suppliers during quotation preparation, and budgeting
- Understanding and knowledge of JCI industry and company culture, with the ability to integrate rapidly a matrix organization structure and work effectively to achieve success.
- Good communication, analytical, organizing & relationship management skills
- Must be a proactive team player with keen business acumen.
- Broad based engineering background with Process Refrigeration knowledge
- Good communication skill in English
