- Develop detailed construction plans and schedules for civil works, considering project requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Identify and select qualified contractors for civil construction activities through competitive bidding processes.
- Manage contractor relationships, monitor performance, and enforce contractual obligations.
- Supervise the design and construction of wind farm infrastructure, including foundations, access roads, crane pads, and substation facilities.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all construction activities.
- Monitor environmental impacts and implement mitigation measures to minimize project impacts on local ecosystems.
- Establish quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure construction activities meet quality standards and specifications.
- Address non-conformances and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor project expenditures and control costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization without compromising quality or safety.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in civil construction management, preferably in renewable energy projects or large-scale infrastructure development.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in Korean and English, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Korean regulatory requirements and permitting processes for construction projects.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site at various project locations across Korea as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship in construction practices.
