For more information, visit .The roleThe Renewable Energy team is responsible for Rystad Energy's research and analyses of solar, wind, storage sectors. We are seeking an independent, self-driven and well-organized individual with a good analytical mindset and communication skills to support our renewable & power research in East Asia. This position is based at our Seoul office.Key Responsibilities
  • Improve existing asset-level data with focus on recent renewables, BESS and data center projects
  • Develop and execute plan to collect/process asset-level data (capacity, ownership, cost, development status, location, revenue model) under guidance of senior analysts
  • Identify, access and interpret official/government source of information to support research workflow including energy policy, project updates, auction and investment
  • Contribute data, visual and content to analytics including country report and commentary
  • Additional tasks may be assigned by Team Manager and Analysts.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or post-graduate student pursuing degree in economics, energy systems, engineering, finance, computer science or other relevant majors.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and programming skills such as Python, SQL, and Power BI
  • Experience related to renewable energy will be an added advantage.
  • Able to commit for a minimum of 3 months
  • Native speaking Korean
