Division: Materials and Structural Analysis Division (MSD)Portfolio Coverage: SEM-SDB (EM)How You’ll Make an ImpactThe Materials & Structural Analysis Division (MSD) at Thermo Fisher Scientific is responsible for selling and servicing Thermo Fisher products globally. As a key representative, you will support both potential and current customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering valuable products and services.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
  • Investigate and validate operational quality of system equipment.
  • Provide training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
  • Serve as the primary company liaison for administrative and technical matters related to assigned projects.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance visits and provide solving and repair support.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, system users, and company personnel.
  • Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve issues or support other field service personnel.
  • Complete and submit detailed field service reports.
  • Provide feedback to product quality teams and supply to improving system documentation.
  • Act as an authority and resource for training.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience in electronic system solving.
  • Experience in solving and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high-voltage systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service and relationship leadership skills.
  • Fluent in both Korean and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and solving complex systems down to the component level.
  • Proficiency in MS-DOS and Windows environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
