The company is committed to sustainability, innovation, and advancing the renewable energy sector, covering all stages from project development and engineering to construction, operations, and asset management.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Foundations Transport & Installation (T&I) Manager to join a major offshore wind project in South Korea. This role offers an exciting relocation opportunity for expats and the chance to work on one of Asia’s fastest-growing renewable energy markets. Local professionals are also encouraged to apply.You will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of wind turbine foundation transport and installation, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. You will also mentor junior engineers, collaborate closely with the Contract Manager, and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.We welcome applications from qualified candidates worldwide and offer full relocation support. Local professionals are also strongly encouraged to apply.ResponsibilitiesLocation: Seoul, with potential offshore assignmentsLead project management and coordination of T&I activities, including organising technical meetings, monitoring follow-up actions, and resolving interface issues between contractors, fabricators, and designers.Review and approve engineering documentation, including transportation analyses, lifting and rigging calculations, sea fastening designs, risk assessments, method statements, installation procedures, and progress reports.Conduct suitability surveys for marine spread equipment (vessels, barges, cranes) and ensure readiness for offshore operations.Oversee the load-out, transportation, and installation of foundation piles and jackets, managing on-site T&I activities and coordinating contractors and suppliers.Ensure risk management and compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards; conduct risk assessments and HAZID/HAZOP studies, and organise safety drills.Mentor and guide junior T&I engineers and lead the FOU T&I team.Provide regular progress updates and detailed reports on T&I activities to senior project management and stakeholders.RequirementsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering, or related field.Experience:Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore wind or oil & gas projects, focusing on T&I activities.Proven experience managing installation and marine operations.Strong knowledge of lifting engineering, rigging, and transportation engineering.Skills:Excellent project management and leadership abilities.Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g., DNV, ISO, LOLER).Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); Korean language skills are desirable but not essential.Optional – Final CommentsIf you are passionate about offshore wind and renewable energy, and meet the qualifications above, we would love to hear from you.
