As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  • 1+ years of experience with debugging techniques.
Responsibilities:Proficient in coding with C/C++ and debugging skills requiredExperience in Multimedia software development engineering for Linux based embedded systems.Experiences on Linux Android/Embedded development area for Camera stability, performance, power and memory optimization and Image Signal Processing.Experience in customer support and feature customization for customers.Good knowledge of Linux/Android OS, multi-thread, data structures and basic algorithms.Good understanding of hardware blocks - Camera AP, ISP, MIPI CSI and their SW architecture for porting and debugging in Linux Kernel, Device Driver ModelCollaborates with customers and team members throughout project life cycle to design, develop, and optimize camera software.Strong communication skills - able to understand and explain highly technical information in a clear and concise manner.English email skill.Qualifications:Proficiency in C/C++/STL/Python programming.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Prior experience with Auto Exposure Compensation (AEC) is a big plusPrior experience with CMOS image sensor is a big plus.Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
