Key responsibilities will include administration of all areas of Warner/Chappell Music’s Catalogues across Warner Chappell Music APAC & Global.Your Role:Under the direction of the Regional Head of Finance, the 6-month temp Finance Executive is responsible to support all financial and accounting functions with Warner Chappell Music in South Korea. Responsibilities including but not limited to audit and compliance, reporting, budget and forecast management, as well as financial analysis and modelling to support the business.This role will also focus on continuous improvement of current processes and procedures to ensure that the Company is compliant with local accounting standards, regulation and company policies while ensuring cost efficiency are effectively maximised.Here you'll get to:Handle full set of accounts including revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries and document filing.Perform Balance Sheet accounts breakdown and analysis every month.Prepare monthly intercompany balances reconciliation.Deliver timely & accurate monthly financial and management reports, comprehensive analysis and consolidation.Manage royalty process and daily royalty administrative workAssist to prepare quarterly and monthly forecasts.Responsible for the writer contract supporting related matters such as the advance/ purchase appraisal (IRR calculation).Liaise with auditors for annual statutory audit relating to the preparation of the financial account and tax matters.Ensure local compliance such as direct and indirect tax filing.Provide any ad hoc analysis when needed.We’d love it if you also had:Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fieldExtensive experience in finance and accountingExperience of data analysis with the ability to analyze complex information and present in a concise formatStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environmentStrong communications skills both verbal and written in Korean and English across all levels of an organizationProficient IT skills especially Microsoft Excel, working experience with Microsoft Dynamic Navision and Hyperion will be advantageousTechnically strong in accounting standards and taxation knowledgeCommercial awareness and business acumenPossess high level integrity, initiative and results orientedStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsSound presentation skills, in particular the presentation of financial information to non-finance managers and senior directorsAbout us:At Warner Chappell Music (WCM), we shape the culture of songwriting and champion songs that resonate for generations by creating transformational opportunities for songwriters everywhere.
