Business DivisionsInvestment BankYour roleWe are looking for analyst who can be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions and events including booking, pre-matching, settlements, filing, archiving and handling of queries. This also includes, reconciliation of transactions and positions, and can include cash management/ payment activities as well as reconciliation of client service issues. This is a 18-month contract position.We are look for analyst who is capable of followings.
  • Execute the processes and controls you are responsible for in a timely, accurate and compete manner.
  • Undertake preparatory work, transaction processing, control and reconciliations tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and statutory requirements and with internal polices and contracts.
  • Understand the risks associated with your business and function.
  • Work across teams and functions to get the best solution or course of action.

UBS RecruitingYour teamYou'll be working in the UBS Securities, Seoul Branch, IB operations.
Our team is responsible for the day-to-day settlements of the local broking business in Korea covering all product lines managed by the Korean Operations Team which includes the following tasks:
  • Manage new account opening and account re-activation, including cash account, omnibus, and DMA.
  • Reconcile daily execution details on local ledger system vs global allocation file and investigate any discrepancy.
  • Pre-match trades with local custodian banks and report matching status to FO and each regional CS teams.
  • Monitor intra-day settlement status and follow up settlement issues.
  • Handle internal/ external client queries.
  • Manage fail trade and related fail costs.
  • Manage trading errors incurred by FO & P/L reporting.
  • Conduct system enhancement and UATs to improve work efficiency and comply with regulation changes.
  • Manage fee payments to KSFC and KSD regarding stock borrows, safekeeping and stock transfer.
Your expertise
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years Equity settlement experience with exposure to KRX, KSD and KSFC
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office application like Excel, Word and VBA (macro)
  • Language skills ( Fluent in English)
  • Able to think creatively, flexibly and think logically to solve problems.
  • Interested in digitalization and have an affinity with technology.
